Jamnagar Jamnagar, India The biggest oil refining hub of the world pollutes a national park with impunity. Overview Jamnagar has two refinery complexes, and is the world's largest oil-refining hub.

The second refinery is the sixth largest in the world and is located in the Special Economic Zone at Jamnagar.

There is also a Fluidised Catalytic Cracker (FCC), Coker, Alkylation, Paraxylene, Polypropylene, Refinery offgas (ROG) cracker and Petcoke gasification plants.

The oil for all the units is imported using tankers which are docked at the Reliance Ports and Terminals. As such, the pollution load in this area is high.
